Fairness

 

What is fairness? Can someone decide what is being fair?

1. Everyone getting the same treatment

                      or

2. Everyone getting what they want.

 

or to put it simply:

Let’s pretend there was a party, there was 10 people at that party and one cake to share
which sounds fair?

1. Everyone gets an equal one slice of cake

                      or

2. Those who want to eat get a slice (size of their choice), and those who do not want to eat may just pass.

 

in a government setting

 

1. The government treats everyone equally, no matter who you are you get the same treatment (democracy)

 

2. The government tends to everyone’s needs
