Procrastination

 I so wished it was study rather than procrastination but I guess its going to be as it always has been…
and secondly… what kind of textbook that doesn’t give you a definition list? just readings after readings?… no explanations on anything! You Prof… should you consider giving us more definitions in your notes instead of additional readings?

To my fellow curious Chinese friends,

I have finally found where the new word “hea" comes from.

happy + 一下= ‘hea’

happy + jat haai take the ‘H’ from happy and ‘e’ from the Chinese pronounciation of ‘happy’ with a twist and ‘a’ from 一下’s 下. And there you have it “hea"

A little Procrastination

Hey All,

I am alive and well… excuse me, Alive and well until Tuesday when those exams would begin to slowly kill and eat me away

So, I have a little excuse for a small study break right now
After forcibly having to use Pinyin (because apparently my Vista does not support the Jyutping IME version I have) I decided to finally go on ‘fishing’ for a Jyut Ping that is supported by Vista, after… ahem 3 hours of searching no luck, none of them are supported by vista apparently, even the ones that say they do So if anyone who knows/has please please PLEASE! send the program to me? (I know I could use NJ Star, but unfortunately, I have to pay, even pay for those features I don’t even use!)

After almost 6 months of not using JyutPing, I find my knowledge of typing Jyutping lacking and falling behind, such a shame! T.T I desperately need one ASAP!!

sheesh, and to think that Vista should be an improvement of XP

the time of stress is near

So after a week of… well… small stress, next week comes reading week, than exams!! terrible!

Something interesting happened in tutorial

so the TA wrote on the board: take home exam
and I thought… nice! and than he told us, you only have 48 hours to complete it, than you have to slip them in the drop box by Thursday, everyone was like… aww… but I was like, wow, great… 5 mins later, the TA said, APRIL’S FOOLS!
