TTC and music

haha something quite hilarious that came over during one of those times when I did not have a blog with me to comment on: so
it was my first time on one of those new hybrid TTC buses, and guess
what? once I walked in, music surrounded me, I thought, wow, I could
totally get use to this, you know, being all musically, I guess the
TTC has learned to be more ‘classy’ that’s what I thought at first than
whamp, it hit me, the person who sat next to me had on earphones, to my disappointment, the sounds came from his mp3 player… O.o I guess I
had too much expectations from the TTC. feel so disappointed

CCF Retreat 2008

To all those who had made this retreat a very meaningful and memorable one.

I would really like to take this opportunity to thank all those who
came to retreat, to make it possible, I would have not imagined so many
people. After many months of preperation between: Jeff, Gigi, Kelvin,
Larry, Winnie and myself, it was truly an enjoyable moment to see the
retreat happening before our eyes.

I really want to thank Janice for her cooking, and all her efforts to prepare.

Cordelia, for teaching me and Jess Z. how to make so many “bo sun" foods and teaching us how to make desserts 🙂

Rachel, Keith, Jessica Tam, Albert for the wonderful singerpation
sessions with your beautiful music, may God bless you all, and may you
continue to praise and serve God with your talents 🙂

Jeff for all the contribution (I guess the name says it all, no need to
name each task, or this email would be over 12 pages long)

Jeff, Winnie, Janice for preparation of games (weren’t they fun?)

Colin for being our retreat speaker, I really want to Praise God for
giving us such a good speaker. I also hope that we could learn from
Colin’s messages and continue to grow. I really look forward to hearing
more of his messages in the future.

last but not less, to Gigi, who, despite your exams you were still able
to make it and to be such a helping hand, really appreciate all that
you had done for us and for God.

Praise God for us to “Yu Geen" Him.

Praise God for giving us such a wonderful time for socializing between
us and to learn more about each other. I hope you all enjoyed this
retreat through big and little things as I had. This retreat was a
meaningful and beautiful experience, thank you all.

Thank everyone for your support during the retreat.

Each of us served in different parts and made this such an experience.
Without just one of you, this retreat would have been different, and
lacking.

Thank you Lord for making this retreat happens. I know that You are with us all the time.

Add oil to all those who are having midterm + assignments soon 🙂

And Remember to come to CCF on Monday, with your retreat booklets so
that we could exchange post-it notes, we would be also be having a
post-retreat session, (don’t worry it won’t be a dry program~) Hope to
see you all there 🙂

in Him,

Stephanie
(Steph)

wow, looking at the date, from the last entry, one can already tell HOW long it has been since I had time to blog… it actually scares me… I knew I hadn’t blogged in a long time, but its been over a month? what kind of nonsense is that?

I know that some of you are probably saying oh yeah, Steph doesn’t need her blog now because of… blah blah blah or (insert something similar) but honestly, I know I use this phrase most often, ‘I was really busy’, doing what you ask with a suspicious grin, no nothing much, well no actually a lot of stuff, but when I try to put my finger on what exactly, I cannot answer, the list goes something like this:

-midterms (from then to now)
-assignments (just handed one in yesterday)
-Retreat for CCF
-CCF programs
-Joshua stuff

by now you are probably laughing and shaking your head, Steph Steph Steph, but it is true in an innocent lost face, what else could I possibly be up to? oh yes, ofcourse I remember now, just missing you
