Weekly Update (July 14 2011) pt. 2

continuation of from the previous post: (This is going to be a very VERY messy xanga entry… I just wrote out what I thought… so please bear with any typos, grammatical errors, etc…)

 

Toronto is the most expensive city in Canada

So… for those who don’t have me on fb… thought I would share this status with you all:
“So… According to a survey conducted by some research group (CP24 didn’t specify) Toronto is the most expensive city to live in, in Canada… :O"
This really surprised me… I mean… I thought Vancouver was the most expensive… or even Edmonton…

So… after that bit of shocking news… today I discovered (on CP24) it was reported that: Apparently, Toronto has the second highest parking rates in North America!!! @.@ What is happening to Toronto?

The World According to Paris

I started watching this show… and honestly, it actually isn’t as bad/cheesy as I thought… in fact, I find myself looking forward to the next episode! I actually learned a lot about Paris Hilton watching the show and honestly, it gave me a more “human" side to her.

 

Chateau Lucia 2006 + “Romantic" Kenny G music

A good friend of mine’s actually bought a bottle of Chateau Lucia 2006 and invited me to his house to try… he chose the wine and I chose the music… Chateau Lucia and Kenny G were actually quite a good combination. However, we ended up dining at Jack Astor’s afterwards though XD… We did have a good time chatting though! 🙂

 

Newly Weds

I came across old episodes of Newly Weds with Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson… I miss those days when they were still together. They were so sweet… and loved each other so much… what went wrong?

 

Bible study at Joshua this week

I’m really nervous to lead this time… one question asked was: Have there been times when God seems to have taken everything away from you? What do you do? I’m going through this right now… I don’t even know if what I’m doing is right or wrong… lately, (for those who have talked to me in the past 4 months would know…) I have been struggling… How should I be dealing with God, when He has taken everything away from me? and how long is this period going to last?

Please pray that I can lead a good Bible Study this week… cause I don’t have confidence 😦

Weekly Update pt. 1

so … since I don’t have any “major things" to talk about… here’s a wrap up of what happened during my week… so far:

 

Watched Transformers

I can’t believe nor did I expect myself to almost cry twice watching this movie! 😛
The only thing I didn’t like about the movie was there was just too much fighting scenes… but besides that… it was a pretty good movie!

 

Kelsey’s @ Pickering

I had dinner at a Kelsey’s in Pickering… the service was terrible… don’t go there!! First, I couldn’t even get a waiter to order my food, then they messed up my bill @.@ good thing we checked the bill before paying! Unless you have lots of time… don’t go there!!

 

BTW

Is it just me or does it seem places around Toronto are quite empty (places = Pacific Mall, Market Village, STC, etc…)

 

on a side note… I’m so happy… a Tumblr post I posted up drew up over 150 new visitors to my site! @.@ WOW…
