the title is a bit misleading… what I wanted to say was… God is amazing!! He spoke to me through the bible quite a few times this month!!
Here’s how:
1. For this past year, all this time, I have been trying to follow God’s paths, listen to Him, and let Him lead, however, I haven’t been doing too well… and I have lost my sense of direction as to where to go, I was frustrated because those (either Christians or not) were not following God and perhaps even using non ethical methods to gain what they wanted… I felt so bad because… if I didn’t follow God, I would have probably be able to achieve what I wanted… I felt so so terrible… God lead me to this few verses of comfort and assurance:
Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken – Psalm 55:22 (NIV)
Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you. – Psalm 84:12 (NIV)
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? – Romans 8:31 (NIV)
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you – Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)
2. I was struggling, badly, felt so lost, felt like there’s no more direction, don’t even know where I am going… after an intense heated prayer, God asked me wait, not knowing where to look, I went to my Bible app, the first verse that popped up was:
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. – Psalm 32:8 (NIV)
