Why? ||爲什麽?

Why does God always give me so many challenges?

When one hasn’t even finished, another one comes. Why does it have to be me?

爲什麽神每一次都給我考驗?

一個沒end 又令一個考驗又來。爲什麽是我?

Is it worth it? || 值得嗎?

I repeatedly ask myself, is it really worth it? All of this all of this suffering, sadness, time…is worth it?

我在問自己,真是值得嗎? 所有所有的痛苦,眼淚,和時候真是值得嗎?

A Question of Care~

A Few days ago, during a car ride, Nicole was telling me about caring.
she asked when is caring too much? like, when is it considered crossing the line? If a person were to care too much, should it be a concern? and if its a concern, should they continue?

my response: if it came from the heart, could it be calculated?

For example, if you love your home, you would treat it with care, chores would no longer mean anything because you feel that its a way of showing your care towards your home. However, if it is not done with a ‘heart’ involved, you would hate those chores.

If people care about these things, than clearly they did not come from the heart, but rather, from something which enables them to have a better outer image, also known as being ‘fake’.

If you look back at God, He was able to sacrifice His one and only Son, Jesus, to die for us to save us. As Christians we ought to try to be as close to God as possible, if God could do something so big out of love, couldn’t we? ofcourse, we could definitely not be as almighty as Him, but just trying to be as similar as Him in his doing is what we should do. As those bracelets put it: WWJD- What will Jesus do?

The person who is caring should not feel that they are bothered for it came from their heart, or it isn’t called “caring" to begin with.

Care should ultimately be from the heart and nothing else, that is what I think. It simply cannot be calculated, nor should there be a line or limit.

My condolences towards the victims in SiChuan & Burma

It shatters my heart to see so many suffer, first Burma, and now Si Chuan, China. The death toll of the earthquake in China has already hit 19 000 (estimated 50 000) and still counting. As I watched on the news of the bodies being carried out one after the other, my heart is just breaks apart. Just seeing the ones who survived crying for their lost ones just gives me such a bitter feeling inside. Just today, I heard that some are even forced to saw of their limbs in order to save their lives…

As the Beijing Olympics are approaching in August 8th. This terrible news emerges. While families are happily waiting together for the Olympics, others are waiting desperately for their loved ones or worse mourning over their dead loved ones. Bad news after bad news, there seems to be no end.

many have lost their homes and loved ones. Let’s contribute through prayer and in any way we can.

What you could do:

1. According to a link Sophie
sent: by Adding the rainbow “(R)” on your msn (live) messenger as part
of your display name, MSN will donate 0.20 (RMB?) to the earthquake
disaster.

As Sophie puts: A convenience to be done at hand, can make a difference.

2. Prayer, never underestimate the power of prayer, God is always there to listen to our cries, sorrows, etc.

Donate Now!

In-kind donations of food, clothing and other items, while well
intentioned, are not the best way to help those in need. There are
tremendous processing and transportation costs involved in shipping
these items to beneficiaries. Local purchases of food and clothing are
more culturally appropriate and effective. Red Cross supplies can be
purchased in the immediate area, thereby reducing transportation costs.
Cash transfers to the affected region provide the optimum flexibility
to our Red Cross colleagues so they can meet the most urgent needs.

Please help.

Memories。。。

The more I try to recall, the more I forget, bits and bits of you seem to vanish from my memory, I can’t hold on to them any longer. I just hope that one day, we would still be able to go back.
