Agapa, unconditional Love

A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit some friends one evening and time
passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past
year.

She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home
alone. She wasn’t afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few
blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked
God to keep her safe from harm and danger.

When she reached the alley,
which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it.

However,
halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were
waiting for her.

She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God’s
protection.

Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security
wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When
she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home
safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl
had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been
there.

Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could
have been her, she began to weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to
help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station.

She felt
she could recognize the man, so she told them her story.

The police asked
her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify
him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the
alley the night before.

When the man was told he had been identified, he
immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her
bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her.

She asked
if they would ask the man one question.

Diane was curious as to why he
had not attacked her.

When the policeman asked him, he answered, “Because
she wasn’t alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of
her."

Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you’re never alone. Did you
know that 98% of teenagers will not stand up for God?

Repost this as Love
vs. Sex if you truly believe in God.

PS: God is always there in your
heart and loves you no matter what…..and if you stand up for him he will stand
up for you.

I bet 93% of you people that read this wont repost

I didn’t write this myself. It was taken off someone’s notes, feel free to repost, isn’t God amazing?Lvo

Mom’s update #6

Hi Everyone!

Thank you all so much for your continual support, my mom really wants to say Thank You!

Sorry for not updating for quite some time, as we had to wait for the ‘bacteria’ culture report. Thanks for driving us there Kelvin :)Yesterday, we went to see the doctor, he said that everything looks as he wants it to look, there wasn’t any big concerns for now, and currently, her eye is finally moving in the right direction, it is going slow (not as he wants) but atleast it is progressing towards the right direction 🙂 But we are just curious as to why he didn’t mention the bacteria report…

We would have another checkup again on Thursday, May 31.

Thank God for listening to all our prayers at this time, and thank you all so much for your prayers to let God hear our cries in our times of need 🙂

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY

Today is Mother’s day, it is one of the hardest mother’s day I believe I would go through, I really hope that next year’s mother’s day, my mother’s eye could recover 🙂

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all mother’s of this world.

CRITICAL CONDITION Update #5

Hi Everyone,

I would like for you to continue to pray for my mother’s eye.

Today, my mother needed immediate emergency operation for her eye right after her regular checkup given to her by her glaucoma doctor. It is not really good news, my mom, as turned out, couldn’t wait till her originally planned surgery for Wednesday, so today she had an emergency surgery. it was critical that she must do the surgery right away today, so today, she was admitted to Scarborough Grace Hospital on Birchmount because that was the only hospital left with a bed for her. We went immediately to be admitted at around 7:00pm.

The surgery took around 1 hour, with general anesthesia, because of the pharmacist’s error we had to post pone the surgery from 10:30pm to almost 11:40pm.

After the surgery, the doctor explained to us that the schlertal buckle which the retina doctor put in her eye 3 years ago was ‘cracking’ and breaking her eye, he explained that he had a meeting with a few of the top retina specialist and they agreed that it must be removed, if it hadn’t her eye would be no good and she would be officially blind.

Next, he said that had to take out the Shunt or plate, because he said that her body was refusing it and it was attracting bacteria and it would be useless to even put in a smaller model.

He than injected some new antibiotics because there were some bacteria in the back of her eye.

He explained the complications of this surgery was that she had too much scar tissue and blood vessels in her eye, this caused her eye to bleed every time he tried to do something in her eye.

He prescribed Tylenol 3 (the strongest Tylenol) because he said that her eye would be very painful these days. He would see her on Monday again.

Please pray 🙂
and thank you for everything you’ve done 🙂

My Mom’s update #4

Hey Everyone!

Thank you so much for your continuous prayers and support and kindness, THANK YOU

First off, Thank you so much Kelvin for driving my mother and I to the eye clinic today 🙂

Today, we went to the eye clinic again,GOOD NEWS! the doctor said that
my mother’s eye was improving, she was able to see the fingers held in
front of her face about 1 foot away.

The doctor said although everything is going on well, because of the
Shunt being too big and her scar tissue making it impossible for her
eye to heal fully, so on Wednesday, he would perform an
operation/surgery at Scarborough General Hospital, where he would
remove the Shunt and replace it with another smaller model. And at the
same time, fixing some stuff up in her eye. ANd yes, the most important
thing is that, he would give her general anethestic 🙂

Thank you for all your prayers, efforts, support and concerns!
Thank God for listening and guiding us through this hard time.

My Mother’s third update

Hi Everyone!

Once again, Thank you so much for all your prayers, thoughts, concerns, and kindness! My family and I really fully appreciate all your efforts 😉

Today, we went to the doctor’s eye clinic again, Praise the Lord! He did not give her any kind of treatment, and after telling him about the last incident, he promised that from now on, he would let my mom go to St. Michael’s and have general anesthesia so that she would be sleeping when he works, and she would feel no pain. and he said, no matter how small (even though he kept insisting that a few stitches is not considered as a surgery, and did not understand why my mom was in so much pain on Wednesday *grumble)

The doctor said that her eye is moving in the right direction and if possible… possibly Tuesday or Thursday next week, he would perform another surgery, giving my mother anesthesia (yes, this is important!!) to take out the suture guards out of her eye at St. Michael’s.

Thank you everyone for all your help and support 🙂 and one small request is that you pray that her eye’s health is going in the right direction, and that the surgery would be successful 🙂 hopefully in my next update I could finally put “1 month down and 5 to go!"

Thank you

My Mother’s second eye condition update

Hi!

Just want to thank you all once again for praying for my mother

Today, we went for her ‘daily’ checkup, unfortunately, something was wrong, so the doctor had to stitch her eyelids together (or so it seems) with no anesthesia again…. the process was painful… this time, I was there to watch it… and it was terrible.

She still needs drops for her eyes every hour (1 drop) and every four hours (3 drops) Every time the drops go in, it stings the place where the stitches were performed.

Please continue to pray for her eyes and the suffering she is going through.
She would have another check-up on Friday at 5:30pm.
