Footprints

I love this story… I even believe it is true… but… how do I fully convince myself what God is doing for me will become something good for me when there is no path in sight? (after He had cut off every path visible?)

Footprints
Also Known As “I Had a Dream"


One night I dreamed a dream.
I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes
from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one
belonging to me and one to my Lord.
When the last scene of my life shot before me I looked back at the footprints in
the sand. There was only one set of footprints. I realized that this was at the
lowest and saddest times of my life. This always bothered me and I questioned the
Lord about my dilemma.
“Lord, You told me when I decided to follow You, You would walk and talk with
me all the way. But I’m aware that during the most troublesome times of my life
there is only one set of footprints. I just don’t understand why, when I need You
most, You leave me."
He whispered, “My precious child, I love you and will never leave you, never,
ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, it
was then that I carried you." Margaret Fishback Powers, 1964

 

God! Heavenly Father!! Please… show me a way…

A good verse!!

For those who have been following my fb updates (and of course xanga updates) would probably see how lost I am… so I decided to go on biblegateway to see what inspiring verse would appear, it didn’t exactly help me but definitely reminded me of God’s love for all of us! 🙂

This was their daily verse:

“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.” – 1 Peter 1:18-19

such a good verse!!! Happy Easter everyone!!! 🙂 Let’s be reminded of God’s love for Us!! 🙂

A small simple prayer of Love

Dear God,

I pray for my future other half, although I do not know who he is, (might be someone near me, or someone whom I have not met yet) I pray that you will give him the best, please make his paths straight. Most importantly, please equally prepare our hearts for the relationship we will eventually be in. And please let us sooner meet and be together!

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Surprisingly I haven’t heard more than 50% of the brands listed on this site @.@
