What Equals 100%? What does it mean to give MORE than 100%?

Ever wonder about those people who say they are giving more than 100%?

We have all been in situations where someone wants you to GIVE OVER
100%.

How about ACHIEVING 101%?

What equals 100% in life?

Here’s a little mathematical formula that might help answer these
questions:

A funny thing happened today… it all happened liked this…

About 2 weeks ago, there was an internship & volunteer fair at UTSC. Sunny and I were browsing through the various booths and came across: Ontario Court of Justice which was looking for volunteers. So me and Sunny decided to sign up… besides, what could we loose except for gaining valuable experience once a week for 3 hours for 6 months?

On Thursday, I got a phone call from them, asking me to go to get an interview today… which I went.

The procedure went great and guess what? they accepted me! The person soon went over what I was to expect at my job, which was known as the ‘volunteer Court Intake Worker… the task was heavy and unexpected, for my time, I am suppose to interview and gather persons who received sentences of probation either in the probation office or in the institution… at first I thought… ok, totally not I was expecting, but… fine… than she went on telling me that I would be dealing with the ‘lower’ society… in which they would train us for 6 weeks (6 WEEKS!!!!) and we must stay in the job for 6 months (6 MONTHS) where you have to be aggressive. And sometimes, you have to testify in court if those people accuse you of not doing your job well…

at that moment, I just freaked out…. so I told her, that I am not sure if I want the internship…

sigh~ what an experience for a first ‘job’ interview O.o I mean… who has heard of a place where the interviewee rejects an offer of the interviewer?

there goes my first job T.T

Is the Marketplace at Facebook trying to persuade me to buy a car?
every time I am at my homepage, the feed keeps popping a car as a
recent marketplace item…. it is just crazy!! @.@
Is this happening to everyone or just me? or are there a lot of people trying to sell their cars!?!?

haha just thought I should share some of the craziness! XD

*btw, the new Jay Song… 青花瓷 (Chinese Flower Pot) (qing hua ci) [did I mention that it was my favourite track?] is officially the first song in my playlist… I finally resolved a few issues with Music Web Town, so please sit back and enjoy!

Jay Chou-On the Run album

YES! I finally got a chance to listen to the new Jay Chou album, I am much satisfied with this one than with the last one (Still Fantasy) I didn’t really like the ‘representing’ song: Cowboy is busy, rather, I really found the second track: Rainbow, quite nice.

I fell in love with the third song from his CD (which could be heard on my playlist right here on my xanga (second song, please stay to listen :P) called: 青花瓷, I think the literary translation is Green flower… something? not too sure (I don’t know how to read the 3rd character)

I can’t say that this is THE album of Jay Chou, but it is definitely better than the last album,

I think I would give it a score of 8.0 out of 10.0

Post-Midterm syndrome

I think I had permanently damaged my brain, after my midterms, I can no longer concentrate on text anymore, I was trying to do this week’s readings and this is what happened: which I was flipping through my readings and trying to read, I could not concentrate as I read, the words were just words to me, they didn’t make any sense when put together… I understood what I was reading, but I could not make a connection, nor have any sort of meaning on me… they were just plain words which made sense by themselves, but did not connect in any sort of way… I feel so frustrated.
